The GoDesta TMS has the ability to send automated emails to client dispatchers based on Job events:
If a client is setup with the 'Booked by Operations User' option enabled;
When a Job is booked by the Operations team the following people will receive an email
- The Dispatcher Email address listed on the job, if available
- The 'Shared Dispatcher Email' address listed in the client details
If a client is setup with the 'Booking by Dispatcher' option enabled;
When a Job is booked via the Client Portal the following people will receive an email
- The Dispatcher Email address listed on the job, if available
- The 'Shared Dispatcher Email' address listed in the client details
If a client is setup with the 'Imported Job Booking' option enabled;
When a Job is booked via an Import the following people will receive an email
- The Dispatcher Email address listed on the job, if available
The 'Shared Dispatcher Email' address listed in the client details
If a client is setup with the 'Job Update' option enabled;
When a Job is updated the following people will receive an email
- The Dispatcher Email address listed on the job, if available
The 'Shared Dispatcher Email' address listed in the client details
If a client is setup with the 'Accepted By Driver' option enabled;
When a Job is Accepted by the driver the following people will receive an email
- The Dispatcher Email address listed on the job, if available
- The 'Shared Dispatcher Email' address listed in the client details
If a client is setup with the 'Job Progress Update' option enabled;
When a Job is finalised by the Operations team the following people will receive an email with a Proof of Delivery attached;
- The Dispatcher Email address listed on the job, if available
- The 'Shared Dispatcher Email' address listed in the client details
If a client is setup with the 'Excessive Load Duration' option enabled;
When a Driver is onsite and the load duration exceeds the expected load duration the following people will receive an email;
- The Dispatcher Email address listed on the job, if available
- The 'Shared Dispatcher Email' address listed in the client details
If a client is setup with the 'Permanent Job Bookings' option enabled;
When a Permanent Job is booked by the System the following people will receive an email
- The Dispatcher Email address listed on the job, if available
- The 'Shared Dispatcher Email' address listed in the client details
If a client is setup with the 'Daily Jobs' option enabled;
When the 'Email Daily Jobs Report' is run the following people will receive an email
- Dispatch Client Contacts who have "receive emails" enabled
- The 'Shared Dispatcher Email' address listed in the client details
Client Managed Email Distribution Group
We suggest that if a client would like a group of people to receive Proof of Delivery (and other Outgoing Dispatcher Emails) then the client should be asked to set up a email distribution group to receive these and they can manage that distribution group internally.
