Step 1
Go to the Division screen by clicking the following icon from the vertical menu on the left.
Step 2
Select “Client Rates” menu option under “Default Rates”.
Step 3
The user now has the option to Create a New Default Service Rate table or edit an existing Default Service Rate table.
- Select the “Create New” button in the top right corner to create a new rate table.
This will allow the user to enter some Information about the Default Service Rate table including Rate Table Name, Outside Metro Area Surcharge, Valid From date and Valid to date. All of these fields are required for the Service Rate table to be saved. The user can also copy from an existing Default Service Rate table to pre-fill
For each Service Rate, the user can click on the row which will allow the row to be edited. The user can then use the tab key to go through the table and enter the data into the relevant fields. The columns are defined by the following:
Rate - $ and Multiplier – The $ field is used to denote the amount that is being charged and the multiplier is used to calculate how that amount is being charged i.e. $/hr or $/minute or $/day
- Min Charge - # and Multiplier – The # field is used to apply a minimum number that needs to be charged and the multiplier is used to provide how that minimum number is applied i.e. 1 hour minimum charge or 15 minute minimum charge
- Charge Increment - # and Multiplier – This is used to apply an amount that each job will be charged in increments i.e. if this is filled in as 15 minutes, then all jobs using that rate will charge to the client in 15 minute increments.
- Grace – The grace field is used to determine how we would round the charge to the nearest charge increment i.e. 5:07am might round to the nearest 15 minutes which would be 5:00am
- The First Leg & Last Leg fields are used to determine how the system is going to provide an estimate to the user when calculating the charge prior to the first leg or the return time at the end of the job
- The Fuel checkbox is used to state whether Fuel Levy is applied to this Service Rate
When the user is ready to save the new Service Rate Table, they must press the Save button in the top right-hand corner of the screen.

- This will allow the user to enter some Information about the Default Service Rate table including Rate Table Name, Outside Metro Area Surcharge, Valid From date and Valid to date. All of these fields are required for the Service Rate table to be saved. The user can also copy from an existing Default Service Rate table to pre-fill the data with an older service rate table that needs to be updated.
For each Service Rate, the user can click on the row which will allow the row to be edited. The user can then use the tab key to go through the table and enter the data into the relevant fields. The columns are defined by the following:

- Charge Increment - # and Multiplier – This is used to apply an amount that each job will be charged in increments i.e. if this is filled in as 15 minutes, then all jobs using that rate will charge to the client in 15 minute increments.

- The First Leg & Last Leg fields are used to determine how the system is going to provide an estimate to the user when calculating the charge prior to the first leg or the return time at the end of the job.
- The Fuel checkbox is used to state whether Fuel Levy is applied to this Service Rate
- The user can copy Service Rates by using the Copy button on the right-hand side. When the user clicks the copy button, it will select the service rate and the user can select which Service Rates they want to copy that rate to. When the user is satisfied with copying the rate, they would then press the same button again on the original line selected and that will paste that Service Rate to all other rates selected.
