Step 2
Step 3
Once the client has been selected, select “Service Rates” from the Rate Details section.
Step 4
In the Client Service Rates section select the “Create New Rates” button in the top right corner to create new rates.
This section is for the user to enter the following information if they would like to set specific Client Rates:
- Rate Table Name – this should correspond to the contract in place with the client.
- Outside Metro Surcharge % - this is the amount that will be charged if the job includes suburbs that are outside of the metro area
- Valid From – This is the date that the Custom Rates will be valid from. This allows the user to set the rates in advance.
- Valid to – This is the date that the Custom Rates will be valid to. If the Custom Rates expire and another Custom Rate is not created, the client rates will default to the Division Service Rates that are set in the Default Rates Configuration and if NO Division service rates are configured in the Default Rates Configuration, the client’s service rates will revert to the current Division Service Rate Table.
Note: Unit rate is not linked to a specific vehicle type
Once the “Unit Rate Applied” as been selected a Unit rates section will appear below the rate details screen.
To create individual unit rates, select the 3 vertical dots in the top right of the Unit Rates screen then select “Create unit Rate”.
Step 5
The following fields are important to consider when creating the unit rates:
- Zone Name – This is selected when creating a leg on a job and is how the unit rate is then associated to the quantity of goods being delivered.
- Unit Type – This can either be Weight (kg) or Dynamic. If Dynamic is chosen, the user can enter any type of unit.
- Fork Lift Required & Dangerous Goods – If either of these are checked, than this will impact how the user/client sees the charges associated to this job.
-
-
- If Fork Lift required is not selected then then hand load/unload flagfalls will apply to the job.
- If Fork Lift required is selected, then the Fork Lift load / unload flagfalls will apply to the job.
- If Dangerous Goods is selected then the dangerous goods flagfall will apply to the job.
-
- Minimum Units – In some cases, a job will require a minimum number of units before that work will be considered. This is enforced at the pricing of the job.
- Rate & Ranged Rate – This is the price for each unit that is entered at each Leg of the job. If the Ranged Rates option is ticked, then the calculation will determine which rate should be applied to the leg.
Step 6
Once the user has entered in all the required information, they select the “Add Unit Rate” button, and they will be presented with a table similar to the below.
Step 7
When the user has entered all the applicable rates, they press the “Save New Rates” button to apply the rates to the client.
