The "Requires Attention" tab is used to bring extra focus on to jobs that need to be actioned on any given day.
The different types of jobs that will appear in the 'Requires Attention' tab include:
- Client bookings that have not yet been approved.
- These will appear in the Requires Attention tab until a user has opened the job, reviewed the details on the job, confirmed the service that is required for the job based on the details entered and pressed Save Job.
- This will prompt the user to confirm they have reviewed the job - the purpose behind this is to try and reduce mistakes and FUTILE bookings made by customers or the wrong vehicles being sent to do jobs.
- Jobs where a Driver has added a leg to the job via the GoDesta Mobile App.
- These will appear in the Requires Attention tab until a user has opened the job and reviewed the suburb/address details entered by the driver on the app. This is because often drivers will make mistakes and it is good practice to check that they have added the correct details onto the leg that they have added via the app.
- Jobs that have been imported via uploaded CSV/Excel documents, EDI or API integrations.
- This is because it is important that even though systems talking to each other should result in fewer errors, there are still humans on each end of those systems that can make mistakes and it is important those jobs are reviewed and approved once they have been imported.
- Jobs that are allocated to Outside Hire
- Outside Hire Jobs are included in here because Outside Hire jobs are allocated to Drivers or other Transport Operators that do not operate within the bounds of the usual Delivery Requirements (i.e. they do not use your Mobile App). As a result, there is no visibility of these jobs. The intent behind having these jobs that are allocated to Outside Hire included in the 'Requires Attention' tab is to encourage extra attention and follow up on the progress of these jobs.
