Step 1
Clients which book their jobs into their own systems are then populated into GoDesta within the “Point Manager”.
- The Points are displayed on the Dashboard
Matching Points to Jobs
Step 2
Majority of the time the points will come into our system after the job has been booked or after the job has already started.
- In this case the pickup leg which is always from the “Client site” needs to have the corresponding pickup leg from the point manager matched to it
- On the Job details screen click the three vertical dots, then select “Leg Matching”.
- Select “Match Leg”
This will populate a list of points from the point manager that are available to be matched.
- Using the tick box next to each point select the relevant point(s) to be matched.
- Click the “Update Linked Points” button to complete the matching process.
This process needs to be continued for all legs of the job for legs that have already been added to the job.
- Click the save button to complete the matching process.
Adding Points as Legs
Step 3
In a case when Points have been populated and legs have not been created on the job, the points can be added directly onto the job as legs.
- On the Job details screen click the three vertical dots, then select “Edit Job Details”.
- Select “Add Stops”
- Click the “Point Manager”
Step 4
If the points are only populated after the job has already been completed, then all points need to be matched to their corresponding the legs.
There are instances where multiple points need to be matched to the same leg.
